Hi everyone! My first post and I should emphasize that I love the Darn UI. I can't bear to use the default UI in the game. Darnified UI is something Bethesda should include with their PC versions right out of the box.

That said, I was wondering if it was possible to find a way to use the Coloured Enemy Health mod with Darnified UI? I have crappy eyesight and I find the color sequencing  to be easier for me to process in the heat of combat than the basic dull gold.

I know DUI is using a nif for the Enemy Health arc. Coloured Enemy health uses a sequence of dds files to show the health arc going from green at full health to red at almost dead. I tried looking at the various xml's but couldn't find a place to refer to the sequence instead. Here's the link to that mod at Nexus, for reference:

AFAICT the mod replaces the default image sequence. The nif in DUI (at .5 scale) uses the same sequence I believe. This mod should in theory be compatible with DUI - have you actually tried using both mods?

Yes, thanks. I have tried them both. All I see is the default gold color.

Hm. The sequence is only in /Textures/Menus/ - I wonder if I need to copy them into Textures/Menus50/ too? I haven't tried that ...

Also there's a file in with the dds files that I'm not sure I recognize, called 000001.ifl - I don't know what an .ifl file is. Is that something I could edit?

No idea about the ifl file. If you use texture sizes below large, you need to replace the stuff in menus50 too.
